Treatment Methods

Active Release Technique® (ART®)

The ART method helps providers evaluate muscles, tendons, nerves, and other problem areas through hands-on movements.

The Mckenzie Method

Mckenzie method is a scientifically proven assessment process that will identify the best treatment solution for back, neck and extremity problems. Dr. AJ has great success using this method to relieve disc pain from the neck and low back.

Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (SASTM)

Instruments are used to breakdown fascial restrictions and scar tissue in muscles, ligaments, and tendons. This will decrease the load on various painful structures. Especially helpful in cases of Tendinosis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis.

Prehabilitation

Is the initiation of rehabilitative exercise based on functional screening, before an athletic endeavor to reduce the likelihood of injury and maximize performance.

SoundRunner

SCMJPC is combing our knowledge of biomechanics and SoundRunner’s knowledge of shoes to help take the guess work out of buying running shoes and gives you the best chance to turn your next shoes into a form of therapy.

(TMJ) Head, Neck and Oro-facial Rehabilitation

Certified from Central Institute for Human Performance in St. Louis, MO. This technique focuses on normalizing the soft tissue of the head, neck and oro-facial region to allow proper motion of the TMJ.
